I agree: Suzuki has a real performance image in motorcycles and marine engines that hasn't translated into their automobiles: a halo car like the APEX would go a long way to put Suzuki on the map as a serious automotive brand.
I feel that the old GM alliance has hurt Suzuki's profile immeasurably in the US by allowing GM to sell mediocre, Korean-made cars under the Suzuki brand. Suzuki has a break-out car with the Kizashi, but, without some serious distance from the GM products of old, I'm afraid that Suzuki will remain in a minor tier of brands sold in the US.

oh im not looking for suzuki to suddenly hit it big, this is definitely a gradual thing. i just want that turbo kiz. I've been looking at evos lately and i thought if there was a kizashi turbo which competes with the evo id buy it because of the much nicer interior and the better quality
factory install would be better for most people.
If you look at the Apex Kizzy's pic up in Suzuki's website, through the shots u will see that the Kizzy featured does not have a AWD/2WD button, which probably means Apex is 2WD version and AWD.
