Thought I'd post up a collection of info I've gathered on the above mentioned head unit. It was supplied by Suzuki Australia as the optional "Multi Media Kit" with GPS (from 2010-2011 for the first series of Kizashi.)

Info on updating GPS maps: Mapping software used is provided by Garmin. Updated maps can be purchased from various sources. The maps are stored on an SD card which is installed in the head unit. There are also other "ways" to find updated maps via Googling and trawling various forums........
Kenwood DNX7360BT head unit info
Just an update to the above info, DO NOT update your head unit firmware to V1.4.0 (or later versions- ie. V1.6.0) if you desire to retain continuous volume adjustment when the volume controls are held down.
For some stupid reason Kenwood have made the volume buttons increment the volume by one single step (no matter how long they're held down) in those later versions. To make it worse, if you hold the button down too long - or toggle it too quick - the head unit locks out the volume buttons for about 1 second before letting you try again!?
I'm now trying to find an earlier firmware version (V1.1.0 or V1.2.0) .... without much success.
