Thought this thread might be useful for potential buyers - or current owners wondering what sort of costs they'll be up for.
Kizashi Touring, manual, 12mth/ 15000km servicing- $189 (oil supplied by me.) First servicing paid for under old pre-capped price scheme.
Other Aussies feel free to add their prices. It's probably a good idea to list the servicing done to clarify if it is under the new "capped price" schedule (with 6mth servicings) or the older scheme with optional 6mth and compulsory yearly / 15000km interval servicings. Also include the model (ie AWD or not) and CVT or manual transmission.

Hi David. How the hell do you get this valuable info? Certainly not by a general notification to kizashi owners from Suzuki. I`m due for a 22000k around now. Forarmed is forwarned, or something like that. How obvious can these dealers/makers become. The initial boasts of 12mth/15000k service seem generally to have evolved to half strength in numerous makes now. I will feel much safer mechanically,but know full well that I am being screwed financially, particularly for CVT . Do you notice how little our models are advertised ,if ever, in Suzuki ads? Cheers. I think Suzuki just jumped onto the "capped price" bandwagon as it's the latest ploy in selling vehicles. I'm not convinced it's a better deal for the buyer (than the mandatory 12mth/15000km, optional 6mth 7500km original set up.)
As an example, I've done under 7000km in 12mths- so definitely prefer the 12mth arrangement. (I obviously didn't bother with the 6mth service.)

I bought my Kizashi last year pre capped price servicing. The first three (3) annual services are free with my deal and had the first annual service done yesterday in fact which as described cost me $0.
I have opted to do the 6 month interim service so far and my Dealer agreed to do them for $129 including oil & filter. One of those done so far which did cost me $129 including oil. I tried to pin my Dealer down on future interim service price but all he would say is so long as prices don't go up the $129 will remain which means nothing.

About to knock up 90,000 k trouble free.
Yep, the paint is just starting to flake off the 18" mags. I am going to encourage the paint to "fall off" all the rims. From what I have seen, the car( white ) will look cleaner when all rims have stopped moulting.
Fixed price service 10,000k or 6 months at $294 for my AWD model to 175,000k.

I pay 249 every 6 months
But that just covers the basics. Last service they told me i needed air filter and pollen filter.
Changed myself at half the price of dealer quouted price.

Fuel filter is inside the gas tank, so it's going to cost quite a bit to replace. Scheduled for 150K miles, 150 months, or 250 kilometers. Unless you have a specific reason to believe that it's a problem, I wouldn't bother with it. Especially if you have the CVT transmission, unlikely it's going to ever see 150K miles.
