Anyone change out the tweeters?

The Do It Yourself section is used provide assistance with mods and fixes. Whenever you are making a change to your car please take pictures and notes. Let others know what to watch out for and any useful tricks you learn. If you are starting a post in this section from scratch please hold it to a higher standard than you would for other forum posts. i.e. technical detail and even grammar.

best option IMO... dab a bit of silicone on the back of the x-over case and "glue" it to the inside of the door card out of the way of any window motors or other electronics. They might make them pretty, but it's a major PITA to mount them somewhere they can be seen...

Also, wiring is pretty self explanitory. Hard wire the factory wiring into the x-over input (might have to check out the service manual somewhere on this site to see which colors are positive and negetive) by cutting the factory harness off, then use the supplied wiring to wire the x-over to the speakers...

no prob!! good choice on the Polks BTW. Pair it with the factory RF sub and you should have a rather well rounded system! If you don't want to save the factory RF components for anything, you might want to throw them on the classified section. If the price is low enough, I might be interested in them for my SX4. I love the ones in the wife's Kizzy!
