So I've finally got everything together and the kits are made and ready to ship.

Image

The kit is available in both glossy and matte black. They are $30 + shipping. They are made of 8 year premium cast vinyl and are only 2mil thick so you don't see much of a seem.

They are for sale on eBay.
Matte : Item number: 180562102667.
Glossy : Item number: 180570021056

I have 5 kits of each ready to ship.

Here is also a video installation guide.

Not too bad, always a bit of anxiety getting it set in the right spot. The ends are so well fitted that I just ended up lining them up. I was more worried about the vertical positioning, but that was not a problem. Takes a lot of fiddling to get the solution out, then getting the last of the bubbles out was just time and more fiddling. Looks good, I thought it was a bit too flat/grey looking to match the OEM plastics, fixed that with a little 303.

Getting the bubbles is always the worst and scariest part of a vinyl install to me. I'm always thinking, "What if that bubble doesn't come out?!"

LOl yeah that's always the part where you have to take your time and think about how the fluid will squeegee out. This vinyl is pretty easy to work with. Its quite mold-able and work very well with a little heat. Your able to get everything out without much frustration. LOL

Thanks for the kind words. Looking forward to hearing from the several others who have purchased.

What do you guys think of this? Thought I'd try contrasting the black paint with chrome.
