I believe both events were in the US.

Most people use seat-belts in the US, but not everywhere. I have to admit I don't always have mine on if I'm not traveling very far.

Seat-belt usage in the US is sort of geographical, but I would think most of the type of people who drive the kizashi would use their seat-belt.

Seat belt laws are lax throughout much of the central and southern US.

I'll let you know what I find behind my bumper when I get around to doing the lights. I'm going investigate trying to somehow just removing the fog light bezels from underneath first.

Okay, there are indeed what appear to be two frangible switches behind the bumper bar. They're right out of the way and are located on the main frame where the front steel impact frame (behind the bumper bar) bolts to the main body on either side.

For anyone working in that area- steer clear of anything in yellow coloured conduit.

Regarding the original question for installing fog lights.
Behind the front bumper and underneath each headlight there is an unused two pin connector on each side. I would be 99.9% certain that this is the wiring for the fog lights. It would need to be extended to reach the fog light bezel area, but the loom is certainly there.

Has anyone completed this with the kit sold by Suzuki? I'm curious if the OEM kit comes with pretty good directions and the wiring extensions it sounds like you need.
