The one I linked to comes with a W5W adapter so it should work in the trunk. I won't be using the diffuser though, as the board probably won't fit. Hopefully the light angle is wide enough to cover the entire trunk. Another possibility is wiring a LED strip to the W5W adapter~tc~ wrote:The trunk is a wedge type, not a festoon type. I also learned that the glovebox light is a T1.75 fitment... Not sure if a LED will have any benefits here. I want to change the license plate bulbs too, but they seem like a pain to access.
Edit: Here are the LEDs I ended up purchasing:
- Courtesy lights - 3W, 144lm
- License plate lights - 3W, 240lm
- Trunk light - 6W, 540lm
