Grille black out help.
So i pulled off my bumper only to find out i cant unplug my fog lights? I found the clip it just wouldnt undo. I couldnt see the back of the plate mount infront of the radiator. I think ill try again next weekend. I think ill take a risk and ordee the precut grill kit to save the mess (if i can get it off) probably do a blue pinstripe around the whole grille section aswell. Sort of gti-ish with a twist.

I never had the fog light problem
Some of the factory plugs can be hard to undo- especially if you're trying to support and not mark your bumper. There should be some sort of tab on the connector to either depress or lift (but you probably already know that!)
Rpps, I was going to go with the fog lights, but the expense and lack of fog where I live changed my plans to Daytime Running Lights. You've probably seen the pics/ thread elsewhere. They were cheaper than the fog lights and I get a lot more use out of them.
I prefer the manual trans- I've never been an auto fan (although there are some excellent auto transmissions out there now.) I was actually considering the new 2.0l Focus, but the price and "only" coming with the 5 speed manual put me off. How's the handling compare between the two?

Yea its just a push in clip but its rediculously hard to undo i couldnt get it at all. I put some towels down under mine so it didnt get damaged (i was changing my indicators so it was easier that way minus the fact that i bought the wrong globes:()

Agreed! I really wish their were more locals that I could work with. I RARELY see other Kizashis in Sydney, less than one a month.
I drove with one for about an hour from Heathcoat to Sydney all the way into my neighbourhood! Such a coincidence. The cars got a lot of looks at lights when they were together

I wanted to install the foglights as I think they finish a car off when looking from the front, they weren't that dear $287 on E-Bay. Also having this gunmetal grey colour I like them on so I'm more visable when driving around during the day.murcod wrote:

I have always had manual cars this is my first Auto, I find with all the traffic these days I find it so much more a relaxing drive. If I was travelling on country roads then manual would suit me better.
The only trouble with the Auto is that it wants to go into top gear too early and lots of times I put it in sports mode and change to 5th gear especially in 50KPH speed zones.
The 2.0 litre Focus use to fly and had great pickup in 3rd gear but I think it would have been better with a 6 speed box.
I thought the Focus handled very well but I was suprised how well the Kizashi handles in fact when throwing the car into a corner I find it better it just tucks in there and around you go. Plus the Kizashi rides the rough better along with the good handling, also I would rather the steering better it's got a great feel and weight which just suits me.
The only bummer is, the Focus use to give me 7.5 L/100klm around town, the Kizashi is 9.1 L/100lkm, I was expecting better especially after seeing figures of 7.9L/100klm on various Suzuki sites.

I'm getting 8.8l/100km around the city in my manual, my previous smaller/ lighter 2005 Renault Sport Clio 182 Cup was using more fuel (8.9/100km with a tuned ECU and exhaust system)- so I'm very impressed.
