I have no experience with Plasti Dip so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it peel off once the coating was compromised like by a deep scratch, rock chip, etc.?joshuac2651 wrote:Anybody think of plasti dipping their kizashi. I'm tired of the crappy paint job. I know a guy who dipped his optima from blue to this nice orange.

Just doing the blackout on my front bar (using the Smoke colour) was a nightmare. It's very easy to get an orange peel effect and without the Glossifier the finish is very matt. I'd imagine the glossifier would just highlight the orange peel and make it look worse?
Yeah, it's just dirt and leaves. A job like that is supposed to last up to 3 years. I can't imagine it being easy to peel off after 3 years though.murcod wrote:The colour his tail lights are done in looks like what I used on my front bar. It appears to be wet in that photo and covered in leaves, dirt etc.
