got my xm reciever from dealer today--435.00 !!! wanted 500+ for install !!
aint gonna happen !! for you guys that are a little squimish about putting it in yourself
PIECE OF CAKE !!!
factory radio is one of the easiest ones ive EVER removed,open the little cubby hole door grab the bottom of the heater control and little tug and thats out !! no screws at all,,2 screws hold radio in (very visible dont have ta hunt for em) pull radio out remove all connectors,,mount xm tuner to bottom of radio ( kit comes with the screws}
hook up ant and xm cable to radio {all connections are in the radio already} basically plug-and-play !! i dropped ant-wire down and run it under glove box and just tucked it under the side panels form front to back along kick panels and door sills,, tucked in passenger side rear seat and stuck the ant button in the right rear corner of back window !!! the instructions want you to put it inside the rt rear tail light assembly
which incurs removing the rear bumper,tail light,door panels front and rear,and all kinds of BS !! youve got to be kidding !!! called xm,suzuki gives you a code for 3-months free
good deal !! now were jammin to xm !! do it your self,you CANT JACK IT UP !! :D :D :D
