Kizashi maintenance parts and fluid list
My maintenance guide for the 2010 only lists these two CVT fluid types: Suzuki CVT GREEN 1, Shell GREEN 1V
No mention of any Valvoline products. Does the 2012 guide list them?
Rear diff and AWD transfer gear case are the same weight and type of oil.
Good list with everything in one place

We could get in to an extremely long discussion regarding the differences between what's "recommended for use" (by an oil company trying to sell product) and what "meets or exceeds" the specifications of what Suzuki recommends. All I'll say is for warranty purposes, we really need to be careful since Suzuki really has no reason to honor anything any longer if we haven't followed their recommendations to the letter. If it isn't on Suzuki's list somewhere, in writing, it isn't going in to my car. Especially something as expensive as the CVT. I just bought a bottle of the Suzuki stuff ($14) at the dealer while I was there getting my steering wheel swapped. I also use Suzuki oil and air filters in both our cars as well and don't pay anymore for them there as I would for high quality WIX filters at NAPA.

What steering wheel did you get? Did you successfully add paddle shifters? I have been wondering if that could be done
The leather was starting to check/crack in a couple places. Swapped w/ OE under warranty. The parts guy said the wheel was $900, and that doesn't include the airbag assembly!11zukizashi wrote:What steering wheel did you get? Did you successfully add paddle shifters? Oh yeah that happened to me too the warranty repair order was like 890 bucks
I think OP listed an incorrect part number for the WIX Cabin air filter. Oreilly Auto Parts shows as #24120. The picture looks the same as the original cabin filter. Price wise it is 2x the cost of the FRAM model.
I just installed the FRAM CF10546. However it has less folds as the original unit. Somehow, I can tell the fan speed is not as strong as before. Am I just imagining this?

I'm sure you're right as the same WIX part number is listed for both the engine and cabin air filter in the original post. A quick search gave these two results for WIX cabin air filters to suit a Kizashi:pidru wrote:I think OP listed an incorrect part number for the WIX Cabin air filter. So, 24120 seems the correct option - I'll edit the post.
All things being equal, less pleats = less surface area = more resistance to airflow.pidru wrote: I just installed the FRAM CF10546. However it has less folds as the original unit. Somehow, I can tell the fan speed is not as strong as before. Am I just imagining this?
