About a year ago I was searching for a car (was looking at the Legacy, Optima and others but those were my top choices) then I ran across a picture of the Kizashi and fell in love with it. After reading reviews of the car and finding this club (I never signed up because I didn't have a Kizzy yet :( )... at first I was hesitant due to the paint problems, dealership network and CVT issues but I kept reading all of your posts about how much you loved the car and I can't remember the posters name but it said something along the lines of "even with the paint issue, CVT issues, etc. I'd buy another Kizashi in a heartbeat" then I finally decided it was my time to go find one. It was pretty hard to find one locally (I'm in NC) but about two weeks ago there just happened to be a used 2010 SLS at a dealership in town. I test drove it before any other car (my first mistake lol) because everything else I test drove... even the Maxima and Optima felt cheap in comparison; I knew the Kizzy was "made for me" if that makes sense. After a bunch of dealerships and bringing home two 2010 SLS Kizashi's for overnight test drives that didn't work out due to issues with both of the cars and planning a trip to Pennsylvania... I finally found an Azure Gray 2011 SLS about 3 hours away with low miles compared to other used Kizzy's in my area/state. So before my post gets too long... thank you guys for (basically) helping with my decision to buy a Kizashi... I absolutely LOVE my car! Everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is, the quality and that no other car on the road can compare to it (except one time where my friend said, "I've been looking at all cars on the road and no other car compares to yours... except this one car- it was red, so I sped up to see what it was and it was a Kizashi" :D )

Though it's used, to me, it feels like a brand new car and I baby this car like none before it. I'll admit, I'm guilty of parking at the far end of parking lots and taking up two spots just so no one parks beside me or dings my car lol. Like I said I do love everything about the car. The only downside to this car is that it still has the original Dunlops on it which already need to be replaced... but that's no biggie. I already managed to break a clip off of the floor-mat but again no big deal. The CVT is taking some getting used to but it's growing on me and I love having my Sport Suspension back (had a previous car with Sport Suspension)! I was driving a Buick AKA "Boat" before the Kizzy and I always complained about the "float"- almost like you're driving on water/the ocean. Getting the windows tinted in coming up next on my list... both of the 2010 SLS's that I test drove had tinted windows and that was something that I wanted when searching for a Kizashi but I wasn't going to let that be an issue when it came to the 2011 SLS that I purchased.

Anyways, thanks again guys for all your posts as it really helped me find the perfect car for me and my driving style! I'm glad to finally post and be an actual owner of a Kizashi now; instead of just lurking and researching on the forums and wishing I had the car... now I have one after all this time and it makes me smile every time I open my door and see such a beautiful car sitting in my garage knowing it's mine. =)

How I love the look of the azure grey w/ those wheels!

Congrats, welcome and I'm glad the forum members experiences and opinions helped in your decision.

Congratulations!

The curb appeal is right up there Hoss, and it looks even better when you are rolling I am sure.
I hear what you are saying about "comparative cars"...there really is no comparison.

Thank you for the welcome guys! One thing I've noticed about this car is how sunlight and the time of day changes how the color looks. The first picture was taken the first day I got it (around noon) and this picture (below) was taken yesterday evening (around 6) at my friends house. I think every color the Kizashi comes in is really nice... I originally wanted an Ice Blue but the few that I could find around me were SE models (still a beautiful car though - just not all the features I was looking for) but when I saw one in person it was almost like a silver- depending on sunlight. The first Kizzy I ever drove was the 2010 White SLS (not a white car type of person) but I just loved that car and though I had to walk away from it; it's still sitting on the lot and I still have to go look at it every time I pass the dealership. I do like the rims on the 2011 but I have noticed that the 2010 SLS rims appear larger to the eye when the cars are side by side.
