Hello, congratulations and welcome. As far as I know (and I may be wrong here), but I believe the stock unit is XM capable, but there is an optional kit that must be purchased and installed if you or the dealer haven't done so already. Whether that kit comes w/ any freebies, I have no knowledge. This is done so that people like myself are not paying for expensive options in the car I'll never need or use.

This kit used to be listed under accessories on Suzuki's website for the 2010 model (again I'm pretty sure abut this), and your dealer should be able to answer any questions you may have.

The radio should be XM campatibile (Rockford Fosgate). Should have XM button below the screen. You will need to purchase an XM module and have the antena run. Suzuki puts the antena in the lip well of the trunk. You will need to relocate it just ouside the lip on the rear quarter panel to get consistant reception. My dealer misled me about XM and had to purchase/install at no cost. About $500.00. You should get a 3 month trial for free. Be aware of XM and their tactics. They will automaticly reneu you and ignore your cancellation request (did this with my wife hyaundi). I had to send them a certified letter to get the thing canceled.

So I already have have a Sirius subscription, and do not want to use the FM transmitter to get music. My old car had an audio output where the Kizashi does not. Is there an adapter to use with a usb port/aux in out there? That way I can run the SAT through the usb via 3.5mm jack. Just want nice clear sound and SAT radio. Do not wanna spend $500 for a module!

I am not sure of any special jack (check online). But I do know sirius is not conpatable with xm. I had a sirius module and wanted to use it with the xm radio in the Kiz. Sirius said no can do. You need a seperate unit and antenna for the sirius. Good luck with the new ride. I love mine. even slept in it one night so it would not get lonely in the garage. Just kidding. It is a great car.

I'm in Colorado and used Shortline Suzuki as my dealer. I bought a Subaru from them years ago, low key no pressure sale, but if they don't pay for floor mat retention clips that are missing from my mats then I may feel a little dupped.
