Hello Church
So I have been looking around for a brake upgrade but trying to keep the budget low. I tried a few options like the 350z brakes and 300zx but no luck. I was doing something at Toyota when I saw this showcase for the Scion it had a big brake kit for the Scion XB 4 piston caliper big rotors. i asked the guy to measure the bolt hole spacing long story short i talked him into letting me try 1 for a mock up i also talked my boss into letting me go home on luch for an hour to try out lol.
Here is what i got so far.
B.B. kit $2500 marked down to $1800 I offered him $1 lol
after some back and forth i got them for $440 tax
Kizashi Big Brake alternative!!

Brakes look great. The red calipers give it the expensive Porsche/ Tesla look. As for the brake hoses I guess it depends if you have AWD or not. You can always call these guys to find out

I don't have any info or specs on the brake hoses but RRM does sell a kit for the Kizashi.
Maybe cross-reference with them?

Hey MrNWA, Do you know any friend or relative who would be interested to buy a Kizashi?? I am thinking about selling mine to get a newer one.

I like your big brake kit, looks great. But I think the Kizashi real brake weakness is with the rear brakes. The Kizashi seems to have more rear brake bias than most cars and the rear rotor and pad size is too small for the car. My rear pads were crumbling away from the heat while my front pads still looked ok. Its not like my pads were worn down, I only had 27,000 miles on the car when I decided to change all the pads. I installed EBC Green pads. They feel better than the stock pads in normal driving but I have not tried them with any mountain driving.
