Repairing scratches on the Kizashi SLS AWD 18" rims?
The rim (size, flange, type, etc) is 16x6 1/2J or 17x7J or 18x8J, offset 50 and the circle diameter is 4.5" or 114.3mm (source Suzuki Auto on facebook)

I just ordered a new set of rims for mine. I curbed one of mine on Friday, got a new set of more desirable rims for the cost of one, damaged the tire too so had to buy one of them. 260 miles on the car.
I found a guy in KC that polishes out rim damage. He first removes the damage by cutting the whole rim edge down on a lathe then highly polishes the whole rim. Cost me $35 last time I hit one and the eye cannot pick out the polish surface from the paint.
I have three to sell next week. I am probably going to buy a set of 16 or 17's for the winter with dedicated tires.

Yes, they are the 18x8 grey GTS rims. I have no use for them. Tirerack just put fitment on their website this AM. They still do not have a car that you can photoshop what the rims look like yet.stapletondoc wrote:Sloop...are yours the 18" wheels?
It sounds like the best solution is to not jack curbs in the first place? I hate scratched-up rims more than anything, so I'm extra careful when parking or going through drive through services.
I too am planning on getting new wheels for my Kizashi, however I will be keeping the current ones in storage to swap out if the new ones get damaged or wear too fast.

I know this isn't the optimal solution, but couldn't you swap out the scratched rim for the full size spare in the trunk? Is it just a cheap full size wheel or are they the same? I honestly haven't checked mine. It's not the best solution but if you only have one bum wheel it's not so bad.

Just a full size steely? Bummer, guess that idea's out the window then.
