High pitch squealing sound?

To bed them in properly you need to do it straight away and get heat into them in stages, then cool the brakes down before stopping. After stopping they need to completely cool down. (Although I notice Bendix are advertising that you don't need to bed their pads in http://www.bendix.com.au/news/bendix-titanium-stripe-0 )

I think the most important bit, while bedding in, is not to come to complete stop during the process (while the rotors are hot) or else you can get pad material permanently deposited onto the rotor surface. That gives a similar feeling to warped rotors.

It's always hard to find somewhere to bed them on public roads!

Essentially how I do it. I do 40 down to 10 moderate braking X3 60 down to 10 moderate breaking X10, cool down period then 80 down to 10 hard braking X5 with small cooldowns in between. I ended up going out of my way to a railway service road and doing it there this morning.
