I think the price going up has a lot to do with weather. We are entering winter now and the Kizashi is available in AWD unlike many of its competitors. Given the rise in popularity of Subarus, it would not be too surprising to see people finally paying attention to another affordable sedan offered with AWD; the Suzuki Kizashi.
I agree that the East Coast has more Kizashis because of better dealership networks. You barely see any Suzukis in California and it's not surprising given the dealership network there was sparse. Odd given Suzuki's American HQs were in Brea, CA.
Price of Kizashi's going up?
Thanks Moto. This site is a lot easier on the eyes than cars.com/autotrader.Moto wrote:+1 dealer network is the main reason for the concentration.
http://www.cargurus.com/ is the best site I have found for tracking rare cars for sale.

I am from the UK. I picked my sport for a ridiculous £14k. Looking on auto trader, the advised selling price us now £13.300. I love this car more than any car i have ever owned. Its quick, albeit not super quick, its comfortable, its well equipped, and its a head turner. I just wish it wasn't so damn thirsty
I hate to agree with you. Subaru was our number one pick for an AWD car, but we couldn't afford one. And along came the Kizashi. Even with almost 40k on it now, I bet we could sell it at close to what we paid for it.KuroNekko wrote:I think the price going up has a lot to do with weather. But we never will! Today's commute home just showed how great a car it is--people sliding all over the place, coming backwards down hills, not being able to stop, sliding into curbs--it was a mess! A our Kizashi was sure footed and able to bring us home without even a close call.
