The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tires are a pretty cheap alternative and get decent reviews.

Summer Tires for Kizashi
I heard a lot about the Ventus line from the autocross guys for a few years. They would be one of the grippiest tires money could buy in the street tire class, so everyone was all over them. I think that's the case anymore, but they're still probably a decent tire.
I have the Bridgestone re760as and after taking a few corners with the snow set on and impressed by the handling, I can't wait to put these back on--the handling will probably exceed my boxster now that I've got more seat time in the Kizashi.

I just bought a second set of rims for my kizashi (18" premium sport OEM rims). Got it from a wrecked junkyard dealer. Sold me all 4 for $250. Now I can focus on buying summer tires. I think it still will snow here in Colorado in at , Sol I'll keep my Nokian WRG3 until early June.
What a steal! There's some really great tires available for the 18s.yoshi2012 wrote:I just bought a second set of rims for my kizashi (18" premium sport OEM rims). Yeah, that's one advantage of driving a car almost no one has. Theyve been trying to get rid of the rims for quite a while. There's maybe 10 Kizashis in Colorado? Anyway junkyards can be hit or miss, this time it was a hit .SamirD wrote:What a steal! Big time hit. I know what you mean. I find the same thing about obsolete networking/computer gear. I've picked up win7 thin clients and xpe laptops for <$100. I was recently able to get a $700 enterprise grade router for $100.
Its amazing what people will do with perfectly good things once there's no one behind them anymore. But GMs still in business even if they're not behind you. I'll never get it...

The Potenza RE760s I just got are great. $110 each for 245/45R18s. $15 each for mounting/bal.
I'll never go back to a directional tire again. Unless you cross rotate them and run them backwards, they tend to get noisier. Heel and toe wear.

That's a steal for them!
Just watch the rain once they wear a bit.

The Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec is quickly moving up my narrow list. I've been impressed with the reviews and reading the specs of this tire.
