i actually prefer the stock wheels over sport and these. I have a black kiz so the dark grey provide a subtle contrast. They're some of the best stock wheels ive seen, save for the higher end 50 grand + cars.

I agree, I wouldn't spend that much money for wheels unless they saved a few pounds at each corner. "Looks are in the eye of the beholder;" I saying I wouldn't get these.

Since you can see the calipers better, you should paint them. :)

I thought about that, I just don't know what color to make them... maybe red? I'm thinking about putting some killer looking rotors in as well to take full advantage

Image.

These only cost me $750 installed and are a couple pounds lighter (each) than the stocks... so take that for what it's worth. I've already got more compliments and double-looks in the last few days than I have in the past year with the stocks on. Like I said, you have to see them in person to really appreciate them, but I know they're not for everyone. For me, the stocks look bland and almost like a shower drain cover (I'm an artist by profession though, so everything has to flow or it bothers me). I'm much happier having my Kiz stick out more while having a unique look, so it was worth the dough.

I just thought I would share since I would want to see other Kizashi's if they went with custom wheels... wasn't trying to brag. 8-)

Its a difference of opinion really and at the end of the day if you like it, its all that matters. I happen to prefer the mutlispoke dark grey stockers, but I've never been one to like flashy rims in the first place. I hope to see my kiz's with custom wheels/mods just to open up this market and see whats out there

Agreed. I would love it if more after market mods were available. I would like to be able to swap out the grill pieces on the lower front. Something that isn't matte black would be nice. Plus those orange reflector lights would look a lot better if they were trimmed down and more subtle. Really you would think they would offer multiple grill options... it looks like it would be an easy swap.

Hawk, that is one gorgeous set of wheels. Very nice.

Thank you! It's nice to know that at least one Kizashi owner approves of my selection. lol

You know, with all the wheels out there these days you can really second guess yourself to death. In the end I think the Kiz is such a nice looking car that you really can't go wrong either way.

So I have been thinking it odd that my 18s look smaller than 18s... check out the link for a bunch of photos of an acura with the very same wheels. It's really weird how they look bigger on that ride...

I'm thinking it's just the "burly" design of the Kizashi? Or maybe the Kiz rides too high?

It's because the sidewall on the Kiz is taller. The TSX is 225x0.40 = 90mm high and the Kiz is 235x0.45 = 106 mm high.

That explains it, thanks. I think the camera angle in my driveway was bad as well, so I took one in my parking lot yesterday and I think they look more like 18s. I noticed that the installer put a couple small scuffs and a small scratch on one wheel... are these really that hard to install without damaging them? I plan on having the stocks put on before winter, but if every place is going to damage them in the process I might rethink that...
