The cover for the fuse panel on my SLS rattles. While driving, I can put my foot against it and it stops. I removed it and discovered that it has 2 pivots and it's secured to another dash panel with two clips. It's all put together correctly, but it's long and flimsy so it rattles. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? How did you fix it?

I haven't inspected mine yet but is it possible to use foam to prevent it from rattling?

I'm not sure. It's a pretty wide piece so there's a log of flex in the middle between the pins. Maybe just a small piece of foam there may do the trick. I'm surprised that everyone doesn't have the same rattle.

Hard to hear rattles w/ the Rockford turned up. (adopted from the wife's solution to rattles in her old suburban).

Seriously, I have no rattles (knock wood).
