Driver front window regulator

The Do It Yourself section is used provide assistance with mods and fixes. Whenever you are making a change to your car please take pictures and notes. Let others know what to watch out for and any useful tricks you learn. I'm sure it's probably fairly straight forward but I wanted to see if anyone has a diagram, pictures, or a video on how to replace these window regulators before I started taking everything apart. Thanks in advance!

I don’t have a video of changing the regulator but it shouldn’t be much different from doing so on another sedan. There are a couple videos about removing the door panel, if you need help with that. They’re both from the same Kizashi owner but IMO they kind of skipped over some important parts. Pulling out the wire plugs was a lot harder for me than he let on or showed. And he didn’t show the process of rebuilding the door panel.

I had to change the same regulator last year, although I had a local shop do it. I think I saw the mechanic move the glass panel up and hold it in place with something like a screwdriver lol, and then he got the regulator itself out somehow. Sorry I can’t be of more help. I’ll look for some regulator replacement tutorial videos later.
