I have a 2010 SLS, FWD with 1700 miles. Love this car. Changing out the amp is the only problem I have had so far. I also noticed the rear sonar parking assist do not work when the temp. gets down around freezing. I read in the owners manual that very cold or very hot temp. could effect how they operate.
I would like to install a rear view camera. Does anyone know if the wiring is pre installed already on the SLS. I want to use the camera with a Gentex 3545
rearview mirror. Very simular to the mirror that comes with SLS, except it comes with 3.5" monitor and compass. The Gentex 3545 is expensive, lowest price I come find on the net was around $642.00. Does anyone know what brand of camera that's used on the Kizashi?

It is my understanding that all models are wired for rear-cam.
If you are interested I have a 2011 SLS with the GPS head unit ( Kenwood/Rockford) which I was looking to trade for a base model radio head unit. I was unable to buy a 2011 SLS whithout navi to my disappointment.
Will you be removing your radio/head unit? If so I would be interested in buying.

Thanks for the info on wiring. I down loaded the service manuals, but could not find any thing about rear camera wiring. Thanks for your offer, but I really like the stock head unit. Do you know what type of rear view camera comes with the car when you get the gps option?

Not sure who makes the camera for the Kizashi but I was told the 2010 models do not come prewired but the 2011 models do. And even if it was prewired it would be located behinde the radio and not up near the rear view mirror. You should be able to pick up a good camera for a reasonable price at like best buy or someplace like that.

Yesterday I have installed a rear view with a length of plastic film outside the plate. I feel unsafe, if I do not pay attention to being split away, I installed it on the rear light bar, I unloaded light bar ad make a hole in the center. I removed the long plastic piece in Rear-view camera and just left the camera part, it is just right for the hold inside. But where the line go without installing a small screw? Finally, Power supply connected to the plug on the license lamp. As long as I open the position lights, Rear view start.
