I see Suzuki samurai on your signuture, do you still have it, ? I sold my 1994 while back I miss it so much looking for another Samurai.
Yep, I'll never get rid of this one, they can bury me in it. Traded an 86 tintop I bought brand new in on a 92 4-door Sidekick. Regretted getting rid of the Sami ever since, but the family was getting larger. Talked a local guy in to selling the 91 to me, in completely stock form, in 2000. Here it is as of June:

This poor guy's ECU was lost on the original return trip home, found, sent back to Dynotronics, shipped back out, deemed undeliverable by USPS to somewhere in Canada and returned back to Dynotronics again....I feel for the poor guy, he hasn't had an operating vehicle for quite some time now. I sure hope the reflash is remarkable after all that.

Ok. Hold on a minute. Dynotronics returned the flashed ECU via USPS?????? WTF! I'm sorry but if any company is not going to take full precautions with a $1700 piece of equipment you are fully in need of, there is no way I'm trusting them.

The day this thread starting I tried communicating directly with the company via email, and to this day no response. Sorry, I don't care if they say the flash is going get my car to shoot flames out the exhaust and propel me into outer space. There is something to be said about professionalism in business. They are not professional!

Just my little old opinion.

Yes. His was the only J20B CVT that was getting flashed. Since it's the same config as our SX4 I've been waiting to hear how it worked out. My guess is he'll just be giddy to have his car working again.

call them and talk to Joe. He told me that once I have the car dyno'ed, just send them the ECU along with VIN, your contact info and dyno results and they will take care from there.

You didnt pay much attention to the pevious post; the sx 4 ecu was reflashed and returned to the customer the next day via FEDEX overnight. Fedex managed to lose it. We secured a replacement, and at the customers request sent it with a different carrier, in this case USPS. Customs stoped it, returned to us(for a signature no less!), and we resent it to the customer. He has it now, and is a happy camper. We are working to get reimbursed by FEDEX

Im not quite sure how you equate being profesional with not shipping via USPS. We use FEDEX, UPS, DHL, and USPS on daily basis. We ship upwards of 100 control units a week, and frainkly this is the first time something like this has occured in our history

Also, anyone who tried contacting us; really the best way to get ahold of me is via phone. Most days I am busy on the dyno til 5-6 and dont get near my desk. Call us, we always make the time to talk to customers the old fashion way
