As much (or more) due to the tires as the AWD system... Do you have winter tires on the Kizashi?

Agreed - After ten years of experience with 4WD and 2WD with and without all snows, I would take a Kizashi (or any) 2WD with newish snows over a 4WD without snows. Such a decision gets more difficult if I take into account tire wear, but for the family to be safe I always put four newish snows on every car.

2,300 miles so far on my new Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRTs mounted on my 2011 S AWD.
I live in sunny Vermont; my Kizashi has already proven itself a most capable snow-bunny.

Recommend.

AS you can see in the video. My driveway is rather steep. I stopped at the steepest part and pulled out without even turning a tire. I am running Mastercraft glacier grip II's.

Today was the first slushy/icy drive I took with my awd SLS. Excellent for a car with 18" all-season tires. Felt very confident. At least as good as my 335xi did - and that had 17s.
