i brought my car to suzuki to get resprayed under warranty due to rock chips, the body shop did a terrible job at respraying, now the color difference is quite obvious = =

Dont settle for anything less than 100% satisfaction.. They have to make it look original because its a warranty job. I took my Kizashi to the dealer because the wheel vibrated when I went over 80. The alignment and balancing job was only gonna take about an hour... but the guy at the dealer backed it into a pole T.T

So they did a fine job of repairing it, but my dad is experienced with body jobs, so he was not 100% satisfied and Suzuki is working with us on the issue. (Basically were just going to get more free services, because the car really does look good, the slight error they made is only noticeable to an expert eye or a very careful touch).

Anyway, this project definitely seems exciting. I'd like to eventually throw a 16g in mine too, but I have to find a shop that would do it without breaking my neck in price first.

And also, if your worried about only getting low boost, look at the Boneville Special Kizashi. That was making "too much boost" (over 20 psi). I read that they could have it make 600 hp, but they kept it around the 550 area. Also very interesting to see that they barely did anything to the engine itself! The heads were superb according to them... and basically all the components can already handle boost. Engine of course.. because I don't have much faith on the CVT. (They did mention that the 6 spd manual could handle the power without trouble).

Im very much looking forward to see your progress. Kudos!! :D

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay, I have been very busy with travel and work. I have brought the Kizashi out, and sprayed about 3 bottles of nitrous through the motor. For the last half of the 3rd bottle I used the "100 shot" nozzle. The car seemed fine, but there is no way to compare this to a turboed car that is exposed to constant boost.

For the record, I pull the fuse on the nitrous arming switch. My son has no way to spray without me in the car, not that he should have the need to spray.

The turbo build I think is out of the question, I am satisfied with the power that it is making while using the juice. Come this summer I will be spending plenty of time at my house in Jersey (Brielle), So those of you who would like to come out to play (I will have my Audi S and my son will have the K) you can meet us at the track, then spend some time on our deck looking at the beach.

I will be down there for Waterfest again during July, it is a KILLER show for VW and Audi guys.

Any get together's in the area keep me posted and I will see if my son would like to ride with me to check out some members rides!

Ooooooooo on a side note, coil-overs may be going up for sale in the spring for a very reasonable price.... I think the Kizashi is calling for some AIR RIDE!  I will keep you guys posted on that too!

Nor do I see a price for them on the website. I'm guessing their only sold in europe? but anyways can you tell you what you did to acquire them or if you are selling yours? ThX

I contacted them through their website in which they released their coilover kit for the Kizashi in August 2011. Looking to sell ONLY if I can have an air ride system put together, Shoot me a PM and we can discuss it from there.

My son managed not to bottom out too bad with the coils on, however, we are looking to put this thing on Air-Ride! It will be a custom kit, well hopefully it can be done.

Brought the car in for service at my local dealer, just took out the bottle in the trunk and disconnected it from the intake, the tech asked me what kind of SOUND system used to be in the trunk... not sure why he thought it was a power supply line and not a steel braided hose running from the motor to the trunk... Any one here in the area want to get together for a photo shoot and a few pulls?

I would like to see how the spray stacks up to a stock K, I dont want to make anyone look like a monster truck when I park next to them :x. I will be back from South Korea on Thursday, and maybe looking forward to something this weekend.

Cheers!
