Is there any way of telling for sure if the car came equipped with HID lights?

On the side note: In the Australian specifications Kizashi manuals do not come standard with cruise control and HID lights. Yet my car is manual and it did come standard with the cruise control, however I'm not sure if I have HIDs as well. The lights project fairy blueish/white light (definitely NOT like bi-Xenon though)...is there any code I can look for on the light mount brackets or anywhere else to see if my car came equipped with HIDs?

Thanks

Nope none of em have hid's just get em online & they're h7 actually here's a website too http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-H ... 35W-or-55W you need the 35w one, of course you can buy off some other websites, but a lot of light stuff sucks so much that they don't last long, just explode, or bunch of other crap because some Asians just care about the money rather than quality lmao

Are you in Australia?
If so, which model is your car?

The Touring (XL) comes with halogens.
While the Prestige (XLS) and Sport (AWD) comes with HID, leather, sunroof, RF stereo, 18" wheels.

Another way of telling is see whether your front bumper has that little bulge for the headlight washers, right in front of your headlights. ADR (Aussie Driving Rules) requires all HID fitted cars to have washers... stupid really, as they don't really do anything but splash water all over the bonnet.

Yeah mine is the Touring model, but in the specifications it says "Touring" manual's don't come with cruise control, its only standard on the CVT, and yet my car came with cruise control, hence why I was asking about the HIDs.

I didn't know about the jet washers being mandatory on HIDs, but yeah you're right, all they do is splash water all over the bonnet...quite useless
