yeah, we paid $22,000 for a 2010 AWD GTS with 300 miles in june of 2011. Now a year later with 20,000 miles on it I'm not sure what we'd get but I know it wouldn't be 30% less.

trade in is about 16,000. So you would lose 27%

Nada puts it at 17 and edmunds puts it at 16700. That puts it at between 22-23% depreciation which is in line with whats expected. What I could truly get at the dealer is anyones guess. Depends on the dealer itself and how badly they're screwing me on the other car.

Interestingly enough, boths sites list dealer pricing at about 2 grand less than what we paid. so a year and 20,000 miles is only worth 2 grand to a dealer.

For actual prices for what people are paying for it new go to truecar.com. I've used this site quite often for myself, family and friends.

Yes, that site is money. I might get some haters, but I paid 22,900 for my 2012 GTS w/ 0% interest. I had to walk away twice before we got to that number. According to the dealer, he had to dig into his advertising fees to get it that low. In addition, I received the $1,000 incentive which you are not supposed to get if opting for the 0%. Finance Manager didn't realize it until we were signing all the paperwork. There was an obvious change in his demeanor once he realized it. At that point, I know I had a great deal.
