Just bought my Kizashi today!

I have a Kizashi bought in October and only had a few days of dry weather since owning the car. Typical Vancouver fall weather pattern. And no, I have not seen or noticed my head lights fogged up due condensation.

However, my previous vehicle Mitsubishi Outlander, will fog up my tail lights since day 1 (got it new with just 20 kms.

Last vehicle I had with that problem, the dealer replaced without hesitation. Is it BOTH lamps? That would seem unusual.

Hmm.. All these replies have really got me thinking.
Yes it happens to both headlights and seems to be equal/identical in both.
It only happened after I had driven the car and it was sitting in the driveway.
We had a pretty big rain storm the day before and that night the temperatures dropped close to zero.
I'm going to give it a few days and keep checking on it.
If its still occurring on a regular basis, I'm going back to the dealer and demanding it be dealt with.

There's no condensation in my headlights since the day I bought it.
Right now I live in Edmonton and it's really dry here so can't comment on humid weather.

I would not completely agree with your dealer. First of all, it's not normal and your headlights are in fact sealed. It's known that people who open up their headlights have to usually bake their headlights in the oven. This is to loosen the seal. Sounds weird, but it's a practice well known to HID retro-fitters and people who paint inside their headlight cluster.

By "seal" I did not mean the whole headlight was sealed in as in airtight and water proof. I am talking about the actual glue seal that borders where the clear acrylic meets the housing of the headlight. That's what I mean by seal.
The whole headlight is not sealed in and in fact contains vents as I mentioned before which I believe are to allow airflow for things like reducing moisture.

Could be from sitting so long without the lights being on. Now that they are dried out, it will be interesting to see if it happens again.

Never noticed a problem with mine - and it don't get much more humid than Houston!

I noticed the same thing in my 2012 SLS demo that I picked up a few weeks ago. After using the headlights the problem hasn't come back. Thinking that sitting in the rains without using the headlights caused it. Hope yours clears up too.
