Anyone ever had a problem where the steering keeps adjusting between slow speed and fast speed at highway speeds?
Tonight on NYS Thruway I was doing 80 and the steering wheel input felt normal but every now and then it would get very loose as far as steering input.
It almost made the car dangerously unstable. it would come and go, feel heavy like normal and then it would get very loose feeling. It was like the car didn't know if I was in a parking lot or cruising down the highway.
Tried to search this topic but didn't find anything.

I also heard a strange belt squeeling like sound when I started the car at the restaurant just before this happened.

Get your alignment checked (4 wheel), and make sure they use the specs in the Suzuki TSB posted elsewhere. My Suzuki dealer didn't have the new specs in their equipment.

Just had the alignment done 13 months ago. this is the first time this has happened. Gonna rotate the tires and see if it goes away before I pay for another alignment. Thx

I'm beginning to believe the Kiz (,GTS SLS and Sports models) is one of those vehicles that needs an alignment (at least checked) once a year for the average driver. 12,000 miles over not so great road surfaces. Like here in PA. This is why many, many years ago I switched to diving trucks and truck based SUVs. Got tired of suspension issues and tires wearing out way too soon. WESHOOT bangs the heck out of his car on not so nice roads, don't think it's a model w/ the lower suspension though....I don't recall him every saying he had an alignment done.

So the alignment was caused by the 'what-ever-it-was' that tried to tear the bottom out from under you. Mine holds the road pretty well in the wind (but then again, I'm not doin' 80-105 on the interstate either
