Beyond description.... And there really isn't any "highway" driving in India, it's all city driving. Imagine people walking, bicycles, animal pulled carts, auto-rickshaws (tuk-tuk), trucks, buses, and modern cars ALL on the SAME road, and as mentioned above, NO lane discipline at all.

That said, I think I would drive in India before i tried to drive in Korea.

The Taj Mahal is the most amazing man-made thing I have ever seen in my life, and it's ALMOST worth going to India to see it. :)

I've heard Bangkok is pretty bad, but from people who have been to both, they say India is in a whole different league

You're getting some nice low figures on 98 octane. :)

Anyone lives in Canada? Anyone know which station has 98 RON gasoline? I want to give it a try....

Edit: I live in Vancouver, BC. It seems like Shell only carries V Power at 91. (Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that equates to 95 RON, not 98.)

My most recent economy numbers. I don't have time to add up the averages again but heres tank by tank. Given 98 has killed it every time (particularly in this round!) i'm going to only use it from this day on. Did some highway miles on the latest tank of 98 which got me some good numbers:D

Tank 1 = E10
$1.32 per Litre
458.2 km to 53.2 litres
Avg Speed 42km/h
Avg Consumption – Car Readout = 12.1
Avg Consumption – Actual = 11.6
8.6Km/litre
15.3c per km

Tank 2 = Premium 95
$1.52 per litre
528.3 km to 54.6 litres
Avg Speed 47km/h
Avg Consumption – Car Readout = 10.2
Avg Consumption – Actual = 10.3
9.7Km/litre
15.6c per km

Tank 3 = V-Power 93
$1.78 per litre (paid top dollar at a regional servo)
800.1 km to 55.3 litres
Avg Speed 53km/h
Avg Consumption - Car Readout = 6.2
Avg Consumption - Actual = 6.9
14.5km/litre
12c per km

Your latest tank 3 figure is excellent, did you use cruise control at all?
