Duh me !!! After further research I have come to find out that on Kenwwod headunits all you have to do is ground the light green wire and thats all. Your bypass is now complete.
This can be accomplished in two ways:
1. Light green wire to black wire or
2. light green wire to any car metal or radio casing

Jono, can you tell me what model number your Kenwood Stereo is? I bought a '13 and I'm thinking about purchasing a '12 model radio and swapping the units.
