Need some advices on exhaust mod

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Someone said the Borla system drones (in another post) IIRC?

I think the RRM system would be LOUD as it only has the one central resonator/ muffler. (it would be saving them quite a few $$$ on production costs too!)

Here's that article on the RRM mods - not quite what I remembered as they did get gains (but had the full RRM kit - induction, piggyback ECU, lightweight pulley and exhaust.)

$1,500 for less than a second gained in 0-100 exceleration, no thanks. I could build a DIY supercharger kit for that much money.

i think i will just do exterior mods then......not worth the price to get the minimal gain that's not even noticeable.....

I think youd be better off straight piping the stock exhaust and putting in a highflow cat in. I presume youd get similar power/sound increases to the rrm catback for 1/4 the price. Most places will defect a car with no rear silencers.

This is essentially how the rrm kit appears to work.
