888 days 86,290 miles (when I had my rear rotors and pads replaced)
So I'd ordered those SP Performance parts last Friday, and they were on my garage floor Wednesday when I got home.
Put 'em in the trunk, and today I got my guys at my dealership to install them.
Absolutely no issues; a seamless install.
Drove home, and found no noise or vibration. 'Felt' good.
I'll be buying their front set shortly.
Last tank of Gulf premium returned 28.85 MPG.
Limbs still attached.

They checked the brakes the other day when I had it in for oil. I had heard the K eats rears first, and mine were metal on metal yesterday. The front rotors and pads have 'sufficient' life.....
Not anymore!
I REALLY didn't want to ruin a caliper, because they would not be available cheaply. Like I mentioned, I'll be ordering up a set of fronts fairly pronto.

So, with over 1,000 miles on the new rear brakes (drove over a couple mountains today), I admit to being impressed. 'Bite' feel is significant, and overall braking balance feels more evenly distributed; it feels like each tire is is doing the same work.
NO noises / grunching /squealing / vibration whatsoever.
Nice.
Last tank of Gulf premium got me 369.8 miles on just 11.92 gallons!
(With the Interstate under construction my 100+MPH runs have been limited; taking up slack on back roads.
Note: Often, after a rain, some dirt-road surfaces become almost as firm as a paved road, except they add marbles
).
Took a rock-hit today --saw it coming-- yet it just bounced off the windshield. Amazing.
Ears still attached.

Thanks for your input WESHOOT2, reading the posts in this topic is part of my life now.
915 days 88,800 miles exactly
Nothing; done nothing since my last service. (My dealership, where I had the rear brakes replaced, charged me $86 to do so). Happy about the Kizashi's lack of service need.
I must note how well the KIzashi handles going down hill, when its AWD capability can't yank it out of corners.
Great balance.
Ran it past 90 today and again marveled at its smooth ride and low noise level. And how easily it reached there....
With all our recent rain, our unpaved roads (and many paved) have grown a multitude of potholes/ruts/washboard/washouts. The Kizashi still dances over them all without complaint, or squeaks or rattles or undue vibration.
This is one rigid unit.
Recent tanks of Mobil or Gulf premium have ranged from 28.0 to 30.3 MPG; pretty darn good considering the weight of my throttle foot.
Paint mostly still attached.

Funny, I read through this entire thread today and noted at the end that you hadn't posted in awhile. 3 weeks to be exact. I was wondering (horrors!) if your spirited driving habits had caught up with you. Thankfully they have not. Thanks for posts. I bought a '11 SLS on Saturday with some reservation. I love it so far and you've helped put my mind at ease.
