Hey guys, I washed my Kizzy and went for a drive around the cow pastures and soy bean fields that you'll find in south Louisiana. Couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of this beaut.
Anyway, I was thinking about getting new rims. Perhaps some black ones? Would black rims even look good on a black Kizashi? Any other ideas? If you've gotten any new rims, link me, and if you can, share a photo of your Kizashi with the rims. Thanks!

If YOU think black rims on your car would look good then do it. I personally do, but anything asthetic is just going to be based on people's opnions. Black ones with a polished lips might look good since we have the chrome accents.
Ok, I have to ask. What's with the lurker holding the tomato?

I know this isn't the answer you want, but I think the GTS/SLS wheels are great...and better than quite a few aftermarket designs. I'm not really a fan of black wheels, (from a distance it looks like steelies missing the hubcaps) but getting the stockers powder coated a slightly darker shade might look pretty good.
I agree with Pyramid1, I think the Suzuki OEM rims are great. Definitely the nicest factory rims I have ever had. I have had people ask me where I got the rims because they liked them so much...

Black rims on a black car? Not many cars can pull that off and while the Kiz looks brilliant it isn't one of those
You require a certain contrast and with the black Kizashi that doesn't show off its curves as much, the wheels and all the chrome accents come together to provide balance

I think the stock rims look good, too. I'm just exploring my options. There's always the black rims that have chrome lips and other chrome accents to match the chrome accents on the car. All-black rims is probably a bad idea.
I have to agree the stock 18" rims are the best looking wheels on this car. But I'll throw this out there: Plasti Dip!
Black Plasti Dipped Sport rims could look awesome especially if you go for a full blacked-out look.

Yeah, I didn't think about that, and fully reversible if you don't like the look. Personally, I think the Sport 18" wheels (and even the 18" SE wheels) look great just as they are...not too bright/shiny and not too dull either. You would be hard pressed to find aftermarket wheels that fit the overall look of the car better than what Suzuki has already done..Firefly wrote:I have to agree the stock 18" rims are the best looking wheels on this car.
