Sounds like a bad rubber seal around the TPMS. A new fit kit should make it all good.

Today's Saturday; had my oil changed (at the dealership) Tuesday at 92,839. Cost $35.
Included was an inspection of my major suspension components, brakes, and sundry attached crap. All is good.
I've had further rock impacts on the front glass, yet it refuses to break. Unreal.
So I guess I can keep driving..........
Wipers stilll attached.

Finally, trouble
The tire valve stems on three wheels seem to be leaking; one stem broke its tip off.
AND, to confuse things, I got a flat tire.
I've also noticed a wee stumble after heavy braking to an abrupt stop; might be time to begin considering the potential possibility of perhaps changing the plugs.
Maybe.
Similar consideration re trans fluid.
But I gotta buy some tires. Gotta. Mounted my last decent(enough) garage-bound tire to limp along with until I decide what I'm doing.
But the car.....ahhh....still so satisfying to drive.
The SP Performance pads and slotted rotors are working great. Lotsa 'bite', and heavy 'whoa'.
No discernible fade in normal stupid-fast-driving.
Grindy noise when stopping, but BFD. No dust.
Pleased.
I assume I'll do tires and solve related issues together. Not bad for a car with over 95,000 hard miles, ay?

So those baldies on the back caught up to me (and my dirt road travels); both ended up holed by rocks.
Somehow I ended up with a Hankook snow on the left rear, and the other three are Goodyear WRTs. Left front has a broken tire valve, and the other three all leak either at the stem or from the sensor protrusion itself.
Rumor here has a 'repair' kit available, and I'll be taking advantage of it. Or them.
Still goes fast; still creak-n-rattle free, still returning superior mileage. Tuesday I took a trip of 342 miles to navigate New Hampshire's Dixville Notch, and home through the White Mountains. Even with "The Joy of Driving", my Kizashi managed 32.537549 MPG (411.6 miles, 12.65 gallons of Mobil and Sunoco 89 octane).
Talked to a Sport owner today, and listened to complaints about its stiff ride and "noisy" interior (Vermont roads ARE NOT FRIENDLY).
The S is the way to go..........
Mine's still going

So you guys can get the AWD without the "sport" package's 18" wheels, bodykit, lowered suspension? I didn't realise that.WESHOOT2 wrote:97,197 miles 993 days
