How many where actually made?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Enough for it to really never matter financially.

Personally, I don't think this car in any trim will be worth more later on. Despite the SLS 6 speed's near unicorn status, it will depreciate in value heavily just because it's a Suzuki. Sprinkle on top of that the fact that Suzuki said "sayonara" to the North American market and you get a rare, cool car that no one cares about.

An example of this is observed with the Isuzu Vehicross. I personally love that SUV and many reviewers also praised it. It was ahead of its time in both design and technology. However, the Vehicross never sold well and Isuzu left the US market and the brand slipped into oblivion for most North American consumers. Isuzu Vehicrosses are now neither high value SUVs nor are they highly sought.
I believe the Kizashi will follow this path as well given how similar Isuzu and Suzuki are in terms of market relevance and brand perception to North Americans.

Just enjoy your cars and take care of them (or not as WESHOOT2 exemplifies) but don't expect the Kizashi to increase in value. It won't, especially now that we are entering an era of direction-injection and hybridization. In several years from now, the Kizashi will look like a dinosaur in terms of automotive tech and fuel efficiency.
Not hating, just stating the inevitable.

Agreed. I believe it is usually sports cars that become collectors, not daily drivers. I do think the kizashi will be know in the group of great cars that no one bought. Still there is nothing unique about the car outside of its quality in its class.
