A regular flash drive will work. Or you can try mounting the device as USB storage, I think the Zune does that and the old iPods did, not sure about the new flash based ones. It's possible that the files downloaded from iTunes won't be supported. Try the Amazon store because they sell actual MP3s, not M4A or whatever it is that iTunes sells.

Yeah.. they will need to be .mp3 format to play from what I am aware.

My HTC HD2 Phone works (the unit searches for and finds all valid music files and starts playing straight away.. amusingly also my ringtones ;-), my wifes I-plod nano works,.. my usb sticks work (anything with a usb interface to .mp3 format media on storage recognised as a disk should be fine) and mp3 files from cd also work.

If really want, you can convert your i-ruins lib from m4a to mp3..... that'll fix your issue. The ghost is probably also correct about i-ruins license protected media having a part to play as well.

I can connect my mp3 player using bluetooth, but I think it is easier just to use a flash drive.

Haha, i-ruins. I'm pretty sure that new music purchased there is DRM free, but it's still not in the right format.

Yeah the Kizashi's USB is quite limited. I think you'll have to use an FM transmitter with the Nano

I have a Nano 5G and I'll get the occasional error message, but it goes away if I unplug/replug it in. I can't figure out any pattern though.
