I want to tint my tail lights a little darker. I saw videos on a spray on product called VHT Night Shades that involves light sanding, applying the product and clear coating it. I thought I could maybe tint the emblems on the car too but not sure if the appearance would come out having to sand the chrome emblems first.
Any good or bad experiences with the product? Any other methods out there?

Thanks!

i dont recommend any sprays. use actual tint paper for the taillights if u really want the blacked out look. as far as emblems use duplicolor spray paint or a small can wit a small brush

the films tend to come out crinkly and the spray takes a lot of of skill to come out the way you want it. I ended up doing them on my last car 3 times because it kept coming out slightly uneven when the sunlight hit them so i sanded it all off and kept trying. I would recommend having a professional do it for you

You could try Plastidip Smoke http://www.plastidip.net.au/plasti-dip-smoke

Worst case, you peel it off and start again.
