Hey all. Thinking about coming back to the club.

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Crazy, but I'm still on the hunt. The manual gts was offered at 12k with 33k miles but I was beat to it. Just had a mythical sls manual with 32k miles hit the market for 14.5. Thoughtz on this?

That's a pretty fair price depending on what year it is.

Personally, I'd find some desperate dealerships that are upside down on one and will be even more upside down once 2014 comes. Remind them of this fact when you talk to them and make a reasonable low offer, one that they can feasibly take. You should drive away with a great deal. :drive:

We just bought one of those with navigation for around that price and mileage, so it looks pretty good. If it's a dealership, you should be able to get them down to 14 even. I'd use the arguements that it will drop in value in 2 weeks due to being one year older and that it's almost out of factory warranty. See what they say.

I'm offering 12. Its a manual which no one wants on a car that no ones heard of.

So here's the final deal. 6mt gray metallic sport sls with 32k miles, $13785. They came down from 14775 to this price and over allowed by about 500 on my trade. Car is in B to B+ condition in my opinion but that is coming from someone who clays and waxes his car once a month. So this is about 1700 more than I wantd to spend or if I count the trade, about 1200. I know they overallowed on the trade bc I have three appraisals. So the real question is, is 1200 dollars enough to say no? If you count the 500 extra on the trade the car is basically being sold for 13285.

Prices are still falling fast. The car I saw last month at a dealership has dropped $2k since I saw it--more in line with what I thought the car was work, ironically. They could have sold it that day if they would've been wiser.

Here's the strategy I'd use if you don't think the car will sell at the current list price--wait about a week. Once January hits, '2011' is a 3 year old car that no one's heard of with a manual, and they're going to have a hard time convincing people who don't know what the Kizashi is that it's still under warranty. They won't call you back, so you'll have to keep checking.

Or, if you really want it, you'll have to eat the 1700 or have them meet you in the middle like 1500 or whatever you can squeeze out of them. Then drive away and be happy that you've got a Kizashi again, and an sls manual at that.
