Only spotted ONE Kizashi in a week in Southern California

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

I've seen 3 since buying mine two weeks ago.

AWD vehicles are very popular in UT, and the Kizashi is a well optioned bargain, so they get snapped up pretty quick when they turn up for sale

Interesting. Do you see a lot of them there? Is awd popular because of the weather or something else?

We get a lot of snow in the winter at 5000ft elevation, and we have a dozen resorts up in the mountains. That ski/snow culture makes AWD and 4WD VERY popular in this part of the country.

And in general our winter weather is a bit harsh, so AWD makes your life easier.

Ah, snow country for sure! I knew you had some weather judging by some of your other posts (after I posted), but I didn't realize it was like that. My brother bought an Audi Allroad just for snowboarding trips, so I have an idea of what the culture is like. 8-)

I was mostly in Orange and LA County during my trip and I spotted a grand total of ONE Kizashi there. It was in downtown Orange. It was a black Kizashi, but I don't recall if it was a Sport model or not. I think it was a 2010 GTS or SLS model.
I wouldn't be surprised if most of the few Kizashi's in SoCal are in OC. There was a relatively 'large' Suzuki dealer in Santa Ana--supposedly the largest in California. That's where I bought mine!

And btw, if you're ever down in San Diego and see a white Kizashi SLS driving around--then you can be 99% sure that's me! :D

That's why I tell people that the car I drive is the most inexpensive rare car that they'll ever find 8-)

I'm not surprised. American Suzuki Motor Corporation had their headquarters in Brea, CA which is in Orange County, CA. I've actually seen it before years ago and remember the huge Suzuki emblem on the building. Mazda and KIA both have their HQs in Irvine, CA.

There was one time I was sitting at stop light with 2 other Kizashi's. I hadn't seen that many Kizashi's in one place since I picked Azumi up at the dealership.

Where I live in small-city Iowa I have seen about 6 of them. Quite popular given the small area.

Very cool. If you got a meet together with all 6, it would be the largest in the nation right now.

I've been in Miami and Managua for the last month. You can check out some of the various cars I've seen here: instagram.com/johnhenrydale tagged as #carsofmiami

In my time in Miami I have seen a LOT of exotics, including several Gallardos, TWO McLaren MP4-12Cs, a billion AMG Mercs, Slammed Range Rovers for days, a bunch of Maseratis, Teslas, Fiskars, and M5s, an Audi RS7, A Silver Ghost, 5 bentleys literally a dozen Ferraris aaaaaannnd

exactly ONE Kizashi.

My wife and I are very seriously considering a move here for work and if we do I cannot WAIT to drive my 20k exotic around town to the confused fascination of all these rich-ass mofos. I'll be all like "Oh nice, I see you have the new M4. That's cool, but you ain't got my MOTHERFUCKIN KIZASHI SON!!!!"
