Both are really nice. I wish I could have one of each just to have as nice daily drivers with small mods. They would be fun and last forever!

Today is my Kizashi's third birthday.



To date, repair has consisted of both front headlamps.

Maintenance-wise I've replaced front and rear rotors and pads. I've used six sets of tires.
I've changed fluids and air filter and spark plugs. I should probably change the cabin filter.

I've currently got 107,473 miles on it. I'm not home yet :drive:

Strange that you've had to change the headlamps. You mean the bulbs or the entire units?

I thought I went through tires fast--you're right up there with me--every 6 months! :lol:

I went 107,556 miles in three years.
That's 35,852 per.

Today I gave it an oil change.

That's much better than me. I'm usually at around 10-15k per. :lol:

My 2011 AWD S has gone 108,788 miles. So far.

I got no complaints; it's been starting in our sub-zero weather, staying on the road at the ludicrious speeds I travel, and keeping me warm inside.
Its maintenance and repair record has remained stellar (I forgot to mention the two license-plate bulbs I've replaced) and inexpensive.

It does eat tires, but perhaps I have some responsibility with that particular issue.

I'm not tired of it yet.

I may have learned something: With the TPMS sensors out of the car (and the lights lit and flashing incessantly) the traction control is disabled.
The stability assist has significantly higher intervention limits.
Maybe.
I think.
'Cause maybe it intervened when I got real out of shape a few times recently.
Ice, you know......

The system allows me to 'turn it off', and the "OFF" light lights on the dash.

I was curious about this myself. With the tpms lights on, I couldn't seem to get the esp to kick in. I turned esp off and the car seemed to behave the same. Of course, this was with snow tires, so it was hard to get completely out of control (and still maintain a safe speed).

I recently re-learned the tpms sensors sans dealership with a <$200 ATEQ VT30. You may even be able to do this by just lowering the tire pressures to trigger the sensors versus using the vt30, but I haven't confirmed this. I'd try it though and make the tpms happy again. Seems like it does allow the limits to be pushed further with tpms disabled.
