Reverse Backup Tail Light Bulbs
The charts I see show the reverse light is a wedge, not an 1157
This should be the brightest at 350 lumens

Actually the manual lists the reverse light bulbs as P21W. If you're looking for a brighter light, here are some halogen alternatives:~tc~ wrote:The charts I see show the reverse light is a wedge, not an 1157

Wouldn't there be a slight fire risk when upgrading the bulbs to a higher wattage like the halogens? Plus, halogens put out a lot more heat (we have them in our bathroom), so that would be a concern too right?
From what I've read, the 35W 796 bulbs are a common and safe upgrade. Unfortunately I'm not interested in brighter reverse lights so I haven't researched it furtherSamirD wrote:Wouldn't there be a slight fire risk when upgrading the bulbs to a higher wattage like the halogens? It's in places like this that the higher light output of a comparably powered LED helps. Personally, I wouldn't mess with halogens.
