Exactly. The Kizashi technology and fit out is just not competitive with the latest release vehicles.CLLee wrote: As much as I love (still) the Kizashi, it's aged quite a fair bit.
RIP Kizashi :-(
Congrats on the 3 - make sure you post pics up.

Consider that the Kizashi has been largely unchanged since its global debut in 2009 for model year 2010. It's not surprising that it can feel a bit dated 5 years later given nearly everyone else has had new generations since.
Suzuki is supposed to be releasing new models in 2015. I occasionally search for any clues on the internet about the next gen Kizashi, but I come across nothing. They are either working on it right now or it simply doesn't exist meaning the car will get phased out from global production.

Sorry to hear about this. Glad there was no one hurt. I'm at about 110,000 miles and coming up on three years trouble free except for paint.
The car held up well it appears despite being a loss. Comforting, as I will probably be transferring my car to my daughter who will be getting her license.
Just curious, was it the guardrail that caused the front end damage?

The only front end picture appears to be of the Mercedes B200- showing the matching impact area which connected with the Kizashi's boot.gmkizashi wrote: Just curious, was it the guardrail that caused the front end damage?

Hahaha. I know. The headlights are completely different.
Kizashi's front is undamaged, as I managed to steer clear of 2 cars in front and pulled over.
Confirmed write off.
2010 built, 69,000km.
Pay back $19,000.
It's a decent figure based on the research I've done.

Yes, certainly a lot better than any trade in price you'd be offered.
I'm guessing you'll have already looked at Redbook? http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/research ... x=2&eapi=2
