So what's the warning light that you have? "TPMS Trouble" or "Low Pressure"?WESHOOT2 wrote:They are 'inactive'.
What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
lol. Pull off the one for the center info screen. It will either say 'TPMS Trouble' indicating that the sensors are not registered, or 'Low Pressure' indicating that they are registered, but just not sending a pressure within the safe range.WESHOOT2 wrote:ALL the lights are on (and they're ALL covered with Post-It notes to dim the light at night).

Put in an aftermarket rear camera, now I can see behind me! Had to rip apart the dash to get to the cigarette lighter to tap into it's power, but looks good!

Basically bought a camera that mounts on top of the existing mirror, fed the wire through the headliner, down the A pillor and behind the dash to the existing 12 volt socket and jumpered a new wire on to it's circuit, that way if it ever fails it will just blow a fuse. Camera mounts above license plate in center. You can't get to the wires for the 12 volt socket that easily so you have to remove the panel for the shifter. Panels pop off rather easy. If I could figure out how to post pics I would but my file is too big.

Which kit did you buy? How's the video quality? How did you route the wiring for the camera?kizashigal wrote:Basically bought a camera that mounts on top of the existing mirror, fed the wire through the headliner, down the A pillor and behind the dash to the existing 12 volt socket and jumpered a new wire on to it's circuit, that way if it ever fails it will just blow a fuse. Peak Performance rear view camera model #pkvcorg. Went through the trunk lid and spliced wires into the reverse wires. Camera quality is good with colored indicators.

Looked up headlight replacement for the driver's side in the owner's manual. It says that there's a way to do it without dropping the bumper. I'm willing to scratch the heck out of my hands to find out!
I also bought the bulb.

PS: Make sure you've got a first aid kit handy.
