What is the ONE thing that bugs you about your Kizashi?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Poor fuel economy, can't lock doors with engine running unless you are in the car, CVT rumbles at lower rpm and buzzes at high rpm, rattles and squeaky doors and dash, windows fog up unless A/C is on, seat adjusts weird, trunk lid needs to be slammed to shut, unable to change nav voice, windshield sprays low and weak. I kept it to ONE sentence of things that bug me. The sad thing is the dealer here has the worst service writer, no fun to deal with.

I think you've summed some some of the more minor issues for me with the car. I'm really glad this is it. 8-)

The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of automatic door locks. I'd love to have the doors automatically lock when I reach a certain speed and then unlock when you pull the door handle.

Okay, I got one--changing the driver's side low-beam headlight bulb. I've NEVER had a car where it was not possible to do it, but they win on this one.

Same here. My last vehicle was like that and it makes so much sense (from a safety aspect).

This is particularly annoying if you park and shut the engine where it is dark. Then you are feeling around for the door lock switch - not easily found in the dark. I have to turn on the overhead dome light just so I can find the door lock switch to get out!

I think the only thing bothers me is poor fuel economy, to me, all others are minor.

No adjustable lumbar support - sucks for long drives if you have back problems.

I have a list of complaints but they are really all minor. I think my biggest complaint is that the manual transmission shifter is rather imprecise. When driven enthusiastically, it can cause mis-shifts. It's not horrible and the throws are medium, not long however, there are better shifters out there like what was in my Mazda3.

Other minor irritations include the following:
- The car shocks me with static electricity every time I get out. The OEM accessory floor mats are probably to blame.
- The sun visor extensions inside the visor rattle if the stereo's bass is on high. Solution would be a thin foam or felt lining behind the extension panels to buffer vibrations.
- The moonroof wind buffer (when closed) rattles if the stereo's bass is on high. Solution would be to install a foam or rubber pad to absorb vibrations.
- Doors don't auto-lock as others mentioned.
- OEM tires are not very good, especially with wear.
- USB port housing in console is very brittle and easily breaks. Solution would be to superglue critical points and use an extension cable.
- Trunk does not close easily. You need to slam it somewhat.
- Headlight bulbs are just about totally inaccessible unless the bumper and headlights are removed.
- Aftermarket parts scene is dead. It was never lively either.
- Fuel economy is not impressive, but not exactly poor for manual transmission models. It's comparable to rival cars of the same model years.
- Rear leg room is a little snug.
- AWD not offered with manual transmission, but many cars are this way unless you go to an AWD stalwart like Subaru or Audi.

Over all, these complaints are minor and the positives of the car far outweigh them especially for the price.
