I know that you've probably covered the basics, but is the AC light on and is the temperature at the coldest setting.
Also, do you live in a climate that would cause corrosion or have salted roads?

When you turn on the A/C, do you hear the compressor come on? You should hear a faint clicking noise and then a bit of a buzzing. If the A/C compressor is not coming on when you push the A/C button, you should check the fuse/relay for the A/C which should be in the engine bay fuse box.
You can also check the refrigerant pressure and refill it yourself with a can of refrigerant with a gauge and hose attached to it.

Coincidentally, today was the first day I used my A/C in several months as I had a few people with me for a long drive for work.
Interestingly, using the A/C caused my LED DRLs to flicker and even go out, giving me further proof that the flickering is related to the system voltage. I need to get around to grounding the capacitors correctly. Kind of going off topic, I know, but goes to show how much electrical power the A/C takes.

The fan speed was not increased from before the A/C was on. The difference was the A/C compressor being turned on.~tc~ wrote:Actually,the AC takes almost no power - it's the blower fan
