Drove the car without headlights at night again. Luckily, we were in the city and the fog lights are good.
I wiped down the front passenger seat and interior with a few leather wipes while waiting for the wife at work. Those surfaces were thirsty!
I gotta change the passenger headlight bulb and swap to summer tires when I get time. The headlight doesn't look too bad. It's actually a lot better than my Galant or Accord.

Ummm, women and Kizashis. I first sore a Kizashi about 18 months ago when a friend of mine who works for Suzuki got one as a company car. He talked me through the performance and level of equipment. He then told me it was retailing for £23000, and whilst I realised it was great value for money, I knew I couldn't afford it. Because Suzuki failed to market it in the UK, they knocked the last few out cheap, and I managed to buy one (£14k). I attempted to convince my wife this was a bargain of a lifetime, and bought one regardless of her wishes. She has just started to talk to me now, and despite the fact she has driven the car, she still can't see the attraction, despite the fact she admits it is the best car she has ever driven. What did I do in my Kizashi today? I cleaned my beautiful white car in the morning, drove it to the supermarket, it rained and I then drove it back. It now needs cleans again, 10 miles later !!
I wanted to wash the car, change the oil, and ground the capacitors for my DRL LEDs this weekend, but I'm rained out. I hate not having a garage. However, I was able to do one thing: change the cabin air filter.
I've been looking for a replacement filter in a store but could not find one anywhere. I checked Autozone, Advance Auto, Pep Boys, and Walmart. None had filters for the Kizashi. I then opted to get them online and found one for a good deal on rockauto. Looks like a generic brand but it's a perfect match. At only $10 ($15 including shipping fee) I can't complain.
My car only has 26,000 miles on it but the cabin air filter was pretty nasty. Given the pollen of spring and the arrival of hotter weather soon that will demand A/C use, I wanted to change the filter.
I also want to note that changing the cabin air filter is very simple in this car and requires no tools. In fact, you don't even need to drop down the glove box from its hinge if your hands aren't huge. Just remove the owner's manual tray and you will see the white plastic cover for the filter. I could easily reach the clips on either side and remove the cover. The filter is then accessible. It took me about 5 minutes to change the filter.

Women are really starting to piss me off in a major way. Between the problems that my mom is causing and stuff like this from the wife, my stress levels are starting to max out. She had the audacity to ask me for my fob, and I was like hell no. Are they crazy? Where's the logic in giving you the key after you lost yours? And this is twice!
