best wax

My kizi is very new, so I do not need a separate polish. I am keen to protect the paintwork as well as achieving the best finish. I have done some serious googling but have come to no conclusion regarding the best product. Your thoughts please

I can't seem to find it anymore but it would’ve been Liquid Glass. Came in a metal can with a picture of a red corvette on it. It seemed to have kept that just polished feel for a couple weeks. Haven't found one to do the same since. Looking for one tho.

I don't think Liquid Glass is wax, I think it's an acrylic sealant.

That said, you definitely DO need a polish/wax ... And clay bar ... And anything else you can do to bring the Kiz poor paint up to standard.

I'm using the Zaino products I purchased a while back. Good stuff.

One word--Zaino. It takes even an exotic application process, but I've heard many firsthand accounts that it is second to none.

It swept the awards, and all the reviews are great. In my local shop it costs £19, however I have got it for £9 delivered on ebay. I shall also use a hard wax base for the more vulnerable places. As well as this I have purchased a spray from Armor that you spray on the wheels, that stops the break dust settling. This also has great reviews., and was not expensive.

I use Mother's and Meguiar's products. I don't doubt that there are better products out there, but I like these because they are better than most and can be obtained rather easily without online orders or specialty stores.
Meguiar's also offers a full range of products that many competitors don't such as their professional-grade Mirror Glaze series.
I recently saw that my new local Autozone carries a good number of the Mirror Glaze products so I will be trying them out with my new DA Polisher when the time comes.
Even for wax, I'll use Meguiar's.

Very interesting product. It is available here in the US as well. Someone from Chicago reviewed that it's very good at repelling salt, so that's going to be an important point for us here in MKE.

I have been using Nanowax products from Eagle One on my Kiz. I got three versions of Nanowax when Autozone had a sale and I had some coupons making them almost free. They give a good shine and bead for about 6-8 washings. Not the best but easy to use especially the Wax-As-U-Dry version.

I have to give a Honorable Mention to NuFinish I put on my Olds Silhouette three years ago and it still looks like I just waxed it. But the Silhouette stays in the garage and is only used when we go canoeing or need to take 6+ somewhere.

Meguiars has a really good product mix. I was lucky enough to go to one of their detailing clinics at their Irvine headquarters a few years back. I learned a lot about detailing and even more about how well even their entry-level products work.
