NuFinish is a staple for me. I use it on everything from car parts to the mirror in the bathroom and even the cooktop on the stove. I've found it to be one of the most versatile polishes and protectants out there, and it's relatively cheap and widely available.

I recently waxed the sport wheels with NuFinish and plan to coat the winter wheels with it today. The only thing that rusted on the wheels after a winter of salt roads was the unwaxed wheels weights. 8-) Not even the rear of the hub was rusted even after contacting the fully rusted brake hat.

Just used the Armor shield I was talking about. It won best product on a testing of 25 products. Tihs stuff is great, for several reasons. It is a piece of cake to put on. Simply cover an area of half a sq mtr and wipe it off. You don't have to wait for it to haze, and there is no powder residue. You can even put it on plastic, and the plastic is revitalised.

I have also included a picture of my wife's car, as the colour emphasises it better

Another Mothers and Meguiar's fan here, mostly for their affordability and accessibility. They're good enough for my needs. I usually use cleaner wax biannually with a DA polisher, but it wasn't aggressive enough for the Kizashi's swirls. I'll have to try a polishing compound next

Interesting how Armor All did so well in that review. That brand is generally perceived as junk here in NA. I'll have to revisit their products and see if they've improved

I picked up another bottle of NuFinish yesterday as we were getting low. Gotta wax the range cooktop--wife's cooking needs it!

They also do a very good wheel protector. Spray it on clean wheels. and the break dust doesn't settle properly, so cleaning is a doddle.

Is Armor All similar to NuFinish?
I thought most car polishes are wax based and NuFinish was more of a chemical protector.

I must remark that the last time I washed my car, I supplemented the wax on it (Mother's Cleaner Wax) with some spray wax for the first time. I used Meguiar's Quik Wax and sprayed it on after wiping the water off.

The results are amazing. The car is keeping clean-looking longer than ever. The spray wax has helped to repel contaminants and water stains. For a black car, this is rather impressive as they get dirty-looking very quickly, even after you wash and wax. The spray wax has kept the car looking better than when I just used the conventional wax alone. I'll be supplementing the use of spray wax at every car wash from now on given the impressive results.

It depends. Most waxes are now actually 'cleaner waxes' which do some of the cleaning and polishing that NuFinish does.

Thank you for sharing! I've always wondered what the best use for a spray wax was since I know it wouldn't be very strong as a primary wax. Sounds like it's in the same category as a quick detailer with more lasting effects. 8-)

My understanding is that the Quik Detailer is simply for cleaning, but not really for protecting. Meguiar's Quik Detailer is what comes with Meguiar's clay bars as the lubricant. The product description basically makes it sound like it's a product for touch-up cleaning like removing bird shit.
Quik Wax is for supplementing the actual wax after you wash your car. I was skeptical about it until I tried it. I actually really like the results and the car looks much better than with just the wash, even with a good amount of actual wax.

Overall, I've had very good experiences with Meguiar's products so they are my go-to brand for automotive cleaning and detailing. I also recommend their Deep Crystal Car Wash.
