That's not normal. Everything torqued down tight?

Yep, definitely not normal. I don't think it's a real wobble as I just heard it make some slight noise over a speedbump.

I purchased a new angular torque wrench at Sears on sale last week (yay!) so I could properly torque the wheels. I think they're actually overtorqued by about 10-20 ft-lbs as I went to about 110 without any movement. :(

I'm going to wait a few more days and maybe loosen and re-torque everything. I think the wax on the lugnuts also helped to overtorque as I couldn't 'feel' the torque as well once I maxed out my 75 ft-lb one.

Yeah my lug nuts loosened on my Kiz last fall. I first noticed after getting off the expressway. It sounded like the bearings on one of the halfshafts where going. I drove/limped home and thought about it all night. The nearest dealer is 70+ miles away. Should I try to make it to the dealer or have it towed? The next morning I decided to drive it 1/2 mile to my mechanic brother-in-law to see what he thought. As I drove it sounded completely different. The hub & wheel must have expanded due to the heat of driving on the Xway. After sitting all night things loosened up and within 100 feet I realized that the lug nuts where loose. What a relief. Imagine if I had it towed to the dealer and found out that the lug nuts where loose. I would be one embarrassed guy. Plus would have had to pay for the tow.

Singapore is essentially a totally urban country. I just did my first long distance run in my Kizashi to Malaysia.
Drove up and down the old Mersing road- which the Japanese invaders used to advance South towards Singapore. There are some old bunkers built by the British army still there. These did little to slow the Japanese juggernaut steamrolling south.

These have been bricked up... my guess is they were used as makeshift toilets as they really are in the middle of nowhere.

I must say, I have never seen an elephant in Malaysia before, only in Thailand

Parked and off to the island paradise the trip was for...

Last picture: This is where I spent last weekend. Great little boutique resort called Batu Batu.
I enjoyed my first long distance blast in my Kizashi but was bothered by buzzes and rattles the rough road conditions really brought to the fore. I think I hear a window moving up and down on big bumps... wonder how to stop that.

That is such a great color. I wish they had offered it in the US.

Great photos. I really dig the unique color of your Kizashi given that it wasn't offered in many other markets where the Kizashi was sold.

Thanks! I did see an ad for a used Kizashi in the same color from a seller in New Zealand so it's not unique, just rather rare.

It's one of those colours you need to see on the car to appreciate. Probably not too many people would order it straight off the colour chart.

I had no clue I was getting a rare color when I bought it. The dealer had 2 cars. One was black and the other was this one. I preferred this one.
Oh BTW, forgot to mention that I just changed out my stock Yokohama dB E70s before the trip for a set of Toyo Proxes T1 Sports. Middle range price but grip during the trip (mainly dry plus a short stretch on post rain soaked roads) was very good. Noise was about the same. Sharper handling and feel. :drive:

Good move on the tyre upgrade. I don't miss my E70's, they were shockers and really hindered the Kizashi's handling.
